Sand production in oil and gas wells is one of the important problems faced by loose sandstone oil and gas reservoirs. The formation sand particles carried by oil and gas flow can easily cause downhole sand jamming in mechanical production wells, resulting in frequent shut in operations, affecting production and increasing costs. Our company's latest developed high sealing sand control device adopts the latest domestic sand filtering technology to filter sand particles in stages. It has strong sand filtering ability, good permeability, and is not easy to block. It is an efficient anti pump jamming tool for pumping wells.

Structural characteristics

The high-density sand control device consists of a primary filter body, a settling chamber, and a secondary filtration device.

When the high-density sand control device is working in the well, the mixed fluid in the oil well is first filtered through the inlet hole of the metal shell. After entering the larger volume sedimentation chamber, the flow velocity slows down. When the pumping pump stops intermittently, the sand particles fall down under their own gravity and are discharged from the lower sand discharge port, flowing into the tail pipe. The remaining sand particles enter the sand filtration chamber equipped with high-density sand control pipes along with the well fluid. The high-efficiency sand filtration layer composed of coiled tubing has a dense structure, good permeability, no scaling, no rusting, good elasticity, high temperature resistance, good sand filtration performance for fine sand, and is not easily blocked. It effectively prevents formation sand and impurities from entering the pump and tubing, avoiding sand jamming and other accidents, thereby ensuring the normal production of oil wells.
